What is it About Nocturnal Editions?

Was Nocturnal Editions founded by ancient, alien visitors to the planet Earth?

Probably not.

The original Nocturnal Editions crew came together in 1727 as a proto-anarchist collective interested in creatively intervening in the then-nascent mass media with the intent of fomenting a world-wide polymorphous queer revolution.
Early projects included:
• The printing and distribution of the suppressed, author-approved edition of Isaac Newton's Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica Sodomitica including homoerotic illustrations, diagrams, and theorems;
• A now-lost collection of Herman Melville's early, nautical erotica called "Hello, Sailor" with Copious Instructional Engravings Intended for the Edification of Young men, Primarily;
• and "International My Ass" a collection of Bakunin/Marx 'slash fiction'

Finding themselves the targets of clumsy, narrow-minded censorship and failed attempts at physical intimidation and imprisonment (failed because these dudes were like, totally like ninjas and shit), the NE crew were forced to reevaluate their plans. Realizing that the humans of Earth where not quite ready to embrace the NE vision, the Nocturnal Editions cabal retreated to their fabulously appointed mountain fastness in a secret location in Central America to conspire, reimagine, and relax. .. replenishing their ranks by occasionally kidnapping super-hot straight guys from all over the world and turning them queer using a grueling regimen of rimming, blowjobs and club music. 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
